Breve Bio

Mi nombre es Ruth Rajchenberg, nací en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y crecí en la ciudad de Esquel, en la Patagonia argentina. Estudié la Licenciatura y el Profesorado en Psicología en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Luego me especialicé como Arte Terapeuta en la Universidad Nacional de las Artes y me doctoré en Teoría de las Artes Comparadas en la UNTREF, con una tesis acerca de las funciones terapéuticas del arte en instituciones públicas de salud mental. Me dedico a hacer producciones artísticas visuales desde la infancia. Transité por talleres de arte y pintura particulares y cursé materias de la Licenciatura en Artes Visuales de la UNA y clínica de arte con Fabiana Barreda.

Participé de diversas exposiciones colectivas en Centros Culturales como el Paco Urondo, el Adán Buenos Ayres, La Comunidad del Sótano, el Bar La Tribu, el Centro Cultural Melipal, etc. En el ámbito de la psicoterapia trabajé durante varios años como maestra integradora acompañando a niñxs con discapacidad en su escolaridad, en distintos niveles del sistema educativo y coordinando un taller de arte orientado a usuarios de salud mental en el Hospital General B. Rivadavia. Actualmente trabajo como terapeuta oracular en mi consultorio particular en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y como docente de Psicología en el Instituto Superior de Formación docente en Educación Física «F. W. Dickens». En estos momentos estoy finalizando mis estudios de especialización Superior Docente en Educación Sexual Integral en el Instituto Joaquin V. Gonzalez.

Brief Bio

My name is Ruth Rajchenberg, I was born in the City of Buenos Aires and grew up in the city of Esquel, in Patagonia Argentine. I studied Psychology for a Bachelor’s and Professorship at the University of Buenos Aires. Later I specialized as Art Therapist at the National University of the Arts and received a Phd in Theory of Comparative Arts at UNTREF, with a thesis on the therapeutic functions of art in public mental health institutions. I have dedicated myself to making visual artistic productions since childhood. I went through private art and painting workshops and studied subjects from UNA’s Bachelor of Visual Arts and art clinic with Fabiana Barreda.

I participated in various collective exhibitions in Cultural Centers such as Paco Urondo, Adán Buenos Ayres, La Comunidad del Sótano, Bar La Tribu, the Melipal Cultural Center, etc. In the field of psychotherapy I worked for several years as an integrative teacher accompanying children with disabilities in their schooling, at different levels of the educational system and coordinating an art workshop oriented to mental health users at the General Hospital B. Rivadavia. I currently work as an oracular therapist in my private office in the City of Buenos Aires and as a Psychology teacher at the «F. W. Dickens» Highe Institute for Teacher Training in Physical Education. At the moment I am finishing my studies for a Higher Teaching Specialization in Comprehensive Sexual Education at the Joaquin V. Gonzalez Institute.

¿Cómo nace el Oráculo?

Durante el año 2016 atravesé un proceso de expresividad creativa, a partir del cual, un cúmulo de energía, reflexiones y emociones que me venían atravesando hacía mucho tiempo, finalmente encontraron el modo de salir a la luz. A lo largo de varios meses me dediqué a hacer collages con una modalidad de urgencia. Las imágenes conceptuales iban surgiendo a partir de experiencias que atravesaba. Mi forma de procesarlas fue simbolizarlas.

En un intenso y breve lapso de tiempo generé un compendio de imágenes acompañadas de textos que las completaban. Durante ese camino expresivo, tuve la certeza de que toda esa información que estaba aconteciendo a través mío, sería un oráculo en formato de mazo de cartas. El proceso creativo estuvo acompañado de un camino de autogestión en la edición digital y la impresión gráfica de aquellas obras que se transformarían en el Oráculo. Gracias a la perseverancia y a la ayuda de gente que me fui encontrando en el camino y me fue guiando, ayudando y asesorando, el Oráculo de Autoconocimiento y Reconexión salió a la luz en Septiembre del año 2016.

Una vez que el Oráculo de Autoconocimiento y Reconexión se materializó en el mundo físico, comenzó a mostrar sus posibilidades reales. Empecé a compartirlo en ferias y eventos, haciendo consultas a la gorra, vendiendo el Oráculo para quien quisiera tenerlo y también las postales con las imágenes de las cartas.

Esté camino de creación no solo demostró ser sanador para mí misma. La expansividad del arte y el hecho de vivir en una sociedad humana que comparte símbolos y marcas psíquicas, hace que el Oráculo de Autoconocimiento y Reconexión opere como herramienta de reflexión y de reconexión emocional para las distintas personas que se sienten atraídas e interpeladas por él. Actualmente trabajo como psicóloga arte terapeuta, utilizando el oráculo como herramienta de trabajo para ayudar a las personas que se acercan a buscar respuestas guías a partir de sus símbolos. Mi modalidad de trabajo incluye la realización de consignas artísticas a partir de los planteos existenciales que las personas van exponiendo. Confío en el poder sanador de la simbolización por medio del arte.

How the Oracle was born?

During the year 2016 I went through a process of creative expressiveness, from which an accumulation of energy, reflections and emotions that had been going through me for a long time finally found a way to come to light. Throughout several months I dedicated myself to making collages with a modality of urgency. The conceptual images were emerging from experiences that I was going through. My way of processing them was to symbolize them.

In an intense and brief period of time I generated a compendium of images accompanied by texts that completed them. During this expressive path, I was certain that all this information that was happening through me would be an oracle taking the form of a deck of cards. The creative process was accompanied by a path of self-management in the digital edition and the graphic printing of those works that would become the Oracle. Thanks to the perseverance and the help of people I met along the way who guided, helped and advised me, the Oracle of Self-Knowledge and Reconnection came to light in September 2016.

Once the Oracle of Self-Knowledge and Reconnection materialized in the physical world, it began to show its real possibilities. I began to share it at fairs and events, making inquiries to the cap, selling the Oracle for anyone who wanted to have it and also the postcards with the images of the cards.

This path of creation has not only proven to be a healer for myself. The expansiveness of art and the fact of living in a human society that shares symbols and psychic marks, makes the Oracle of Self-Knowledge and Reconnection operate as a tool for reflection and emotional reconnection for the different people who feel attracted and challenged by it. I currently work as an art therapist psychologist, using the oracle as a work tool to help people who come closer to find guiding answers from their symbols. My modality of work includes the realization of artistic works from the existential proposals that people are exposing. I trust in the healing power of symbolization through art.
